Last year Google integrated tour dates into artist search results. Google pulls data directly from artist websites that use Songkick, BandPage, Bandsintown, or other widgets.

Google has expanded this program to include event data from concert venues in search results. Event information will be pulled from widgets, HTML, or ticketing partners. Google has partnered with Ticketmaster, TicketFly, AXS, LaughStub, Stranger Tickets, and many other companies to directly pull this ticketing information.

Google has also expanded the tour date information it shows for artists, including on-sale dates and direct purchase links.

If an artist doesn’t list tour dates on their website they can insert HTML code into their website that will redirect Google to tour listings. They’ve also expanded to include event listing for comedians.
