Billboard revealed the news which also includes word Mickey Hart will perform with EOTO at the festival. "It is an honor to be invited to share the stage at Lockn’ Festival with my musical brothers and sister, Phil Lesh, Warren Haynes, Phil's Band as well as my talented wife, Cindy Blackman Santana," Santana told Billboard. "Each bring their own unique vision and touch that will make for a rainbow explosion of sound, resonance, vibration that will touch everyone at the center of their heart. I know my brother, Jerry Garcia, will be smiling down on us as we compliment and soar into the heavens to create a new landscape of light & love, where time, space and gravity disappears and it is just the music and your heart."
Now all "core four" members of the Grateful Dead are aboard for the festival. In addition to performing with EOTO, Mickey Hart will take part in a set billed as "Deep Rhythm Experience" featuring Steve Kimock. Billboard's report also features an image showing harmonica wiz John Popper will be part of Bill Kreutzmann's Billy & The Kids set.
Widespread Panic, Phil Lesh & Friends, The String Cheese Incident, Billy & The Kids and Robert Plant are just a few of the acts set to play Lockn' 2015. The festival will also host tributes to Jefferson Airplane and Joe Cocker as well as sets featuring Panic joined by Jimmy Cliff and Phil Lesh & Friends joined by Santana.
