PopShack has appointed Michael Tobin as Non-Executive Director, reports Music Week. Tobin was CEO of Telecity Group from 2003 to 2014.

Stephen McNeff is the new Chair of BASCA, the British Academy of Songwriters, Composers, and Authors. McNeff is taking over from Simon Darlow, who stepped down.

SoundCloud has hired DeJuan Wilson as VP of Global Marketing and Brand. Wilson was most recently SVP of Brand Strategy and Creative Marketing for MTV2, MTVU, and LOGO.

Will Dana has stepped down as Managing Editor of Rolling Stone. Dana was the editor responsible for Rolling Stones retracted article on a rape at University of Virginia.
