Here is a movie with some AWSOME pictures of the festivities from this weekend. I yanked the pics from my friends FB feeds. Apologies in advance for being a stalker :) The movie was made using a new Jerry Garia editing theme Magisto in celebration of #GD50th and Jerry's new record On Broadway. Magisto's launch of the Jerry Garcia editing style celebrates both the release of Jerry Garcia Band – On Broadway Act One: October 28th, 1987 as well as this coming weekend's Fare Thee Well - Celebrating 50 Years Of Grateful Dead shows at Soldier Field in Chicago. Users of the Jerry Garcia editing style can use one of six tracks from the new, three-CD release drawn from Jerry's historic Broadway run at NYC's Lunt-Fontanne Theatre. The new editing style is the product of a partnership between Magisto and the Jerry Garcia family.
“More than any other band in history the Grateful Dead was founded in the spirit of sharing and community, which continues to this day,” said Trixie Garcia, Jerry’s daughter. “I’m thrilled that Magisto is adding to that legacy by giving fans a creative new way to share their love for the music of Jerry and the Grateful Dead.”
