Keyboardist extraordinaire John Medeski today celebrates his 50th birthday and guitarist aficionado Eric Krasno celebrates his 39th birthday today. What better way to celebrate the pair of highly talented musicians on their shared b-day than watching the pair get to work on stage together? 




Back in 2011 Krasno brought his guitar with him to Royal Family Affair to join Medeski’s project DRKWAV. The keyboardist and guitarist were accompanied by fellow DRKWAV members saxophonist Skerik and drummer Adam Deitch for a set of intense fusion. Thanks to YouTube user SalinJerry there’s plenty of footage from the collaborative set.
