By the time the Chucktown Ball comes around in late September, the Music Farm will have completed a renovation that is said to offer improved sight-lines, more space, renovated bathrooms and an overall better concert experience. Umphrey’s has announced that a portion of all ticket sales will be donated to Lowcountry Ministries - The Reverend Pinckney Fund, in order to benefit the continued efforts started by Reverend Clementa Pinckney and to aid those affected by the recent tragedy at Mother Emanuel Church.
A presale for tickets and umVIP packages will start at 10 a.m. ET tomorrow, July 1 with the public on-sale to follow Wednesday, July 8 at 10 a.m. ET.
In other UM news, the band hinted their album Anchor Drops - released 11 years ago yesterday - “will eventually see [a] vinyl” release. No other details have been shared about the pending vinyl edition but a couple of clips from the recording of the LP were recently shared.
